Grandma’s Apple Dumplings
Apple dumplings have been enjoyed by my family for generations. It’s one of those recipes that everybody loves. Some eat it with vanilla ice cream, some with milk, and others (me) just as it is. This particular recipe actually came from my great-grandmother, which we called Grandma.
I was fortunate enough to have been able to find a picture of apple dumplings which my Grandma had baked and taken a photo of. It can’t get any better than apple dumplings made by Grandma herself! Because of this I decided to use that photo for this recipe. While looking through old photos, I was also able to find ones of my family together in the kitchen making the apple dumplings. So, I challenge you to make this recipe with your family, take some photos, and make some new memories. Then someday your great-grandchildren can share the recipe and the photos of their family that they found hidden away in the attic.
Enjoy! ~Kelly
